Over the Brim Inn is located in the historic "Section House" built in 1880. The Inn building was originally the train station for the narrow gauge railroad from 1880 - 1890. In 1900 when the standard gauge railroad came to the valley, a new train station was built and the Inn building became a boarding house for the section workers - the men assigned to maintain the rails in the valley section of the rail line. The Inn building has been inhabited and expanded over the years by the founding families of Westcliffe, CO.
The Inn currently has three rooms with private baths open to guests from May 1 through September 30. We welcome you with a homemade afternoon snack. Before we send you off for dinner we gather for wine, beer, and appetizers. We provide a full home cooked recipe every morning at 8:30. Let us know in advance if you have special dietary needs. If you want assistance planning your trip, just let us know and we will be happy to assist you with trip planning and reservations.
Due to allergies we cannot accommodate pets and we are smoke free. The tranquil environment of the inn is not conducive for young children.
